Ana Vallejo

Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary visual artist from Colombia

With a background in biology, her artistic practice is rooted in studying the impact that neglect and trauma exert on emotions, mental health, self-worth, and relationship dynamics.

Informed by research and collaborations, her work delves into epigenetic memory, emotional landscapes, and the unconscious. She advocate for nurturing creative and metaphorical dialogues to depict subjectivity and develop outlets to process challenging experiences.
